How to repair the fault of orbital hydraulic motor in use?

 

 

1.Oil Leak of the Orbital Hydraulic Motor?

 (1) Shaft end oil leakage: due to the constant friction between the oil seal and the output shaft in the daily use of the motor, it will inevitably lead to the wear of the contact surface between the oil seal and the shaft. If it exceeds a certain limit, the oil seal will lose its sealing effect and cause oil leakage. Treatment: need to replace the oil seal, if the output shaft wear serious, need to replace the output shaft at the same time.

 (2) Oil leakage at the cover: the "O" ring under the cover is crushed or aged and loses the sealing effect. The probability of this situation is very low. If it happens, just replace the "O" ring.

 (3) Oil leakage of motor crevice: The "O" ring between the motor housing and the front side plate, or between the front side plate and the stator body, or between the stator body and the rear side plate is aged or crushed. If this happens, just replace the "O" ring.

2.The Hydraulic motor runs weakly?

(1) the stator body pair is too loose: As the motor is in operation, all parts inside the motor are in the state of friction with each other. If the hydraulic oil quality in the system is too poor, the wear of the internal parts of the motor will be accelerated. When the wear of the pin in the stator exceeds a certain limit, the internal clearance of the stator body pair will become larger, and the normal sealing effect can not be achieved, resulting in excessive internal leakage of the motor. The symptom is that the motor works normally without load, but the sound will be slightly louder than normal, and it will be weak or slow under load. The solution is to replace the needle column.

(2) Wear between the output shaft and the housing: the main reason for the fault is that the hydraulic oil is impure and contains impurities, which leads to the groove inside the housing, then leads to the increase of motor internal leakage, which leads to motor weakness. The solution is to replace the housing or the whole pair.

3.Large leakage of Hydraulic motor?

(1) The reasons are as follows: (1) the matching clearance between the mating planes of the stator body is too large: the plane clearance of the stator body of BMR series motors should be roughly controlled in the range of 0.03mm-0.04mm (slightly different according to the displacement), If the clearance is more than 0.04, the leakage of the motor will increase significantly, which will also affect the output torque of the motor. In addition, when customers use BMR series motors, they usually block the oil leakage port. When the leakage pressure is greater than 1MPa, it will cause huge pressure on the oil seal, which will cause oil seal leakage. Treatment method: Grind the plane of stator body to make the clearance with orbital wheel controlled within the standard range.

(2) The clearance between the output shaft and the housing is too large: when the clearance between the output shaft and the housing is greater than the standard, the leakage of the motor will be significantly increased (more obvious than that described in reason 1). Solution: Replace the output shaft with a new one and match it with the housing.

(3)The use of too large diameter "O" ring: too thick "O" ring will make the plane of parts can not fit normally, there is a large gap, resulting in increased motor leakage. This situation is very rare, the solution is to replace the "O" ring that meets the specification.

(4)The fastening screw is not tightened: if the fastening screw is not tightened, the plane of the part can not fit normally, and there is a certain gap, which will make the motor leak greatly. The solution is to tighten the screws within the specified torque range.

4.The Hydraulic Orbital motor doesn't work or crawls ?

(1) the matching clearance of stator body pair plane is too small: as mentioned before, the plane clearance of stator body of BMR series motor should be roughly controlled in the range of 0.03mm-0.04mm. If the clearance is less than 0.03, the orbital wheel may bite the front side plate or the rear side plate, and the motor will be found operation is uneven, serious situation will make the motor directly bite, leading to no rotation. Processing method: grind the plane of orbital wheel to make the plane clearance between orbital wheel and stator body within the standard range.

(2)Tightening the fastening screws too tight: tightening the fastening screws too tightly will cause the parts and the plane to fit too tightly, As a result, the motor does not run smoothly or directly stuck.

The solution is to tighten the screws within the specified torque range.

(3)Bite between the output shaft and the housing: when the fit clearance between the output shaft and the housing is too small, the motor will bite or crawl, also this will happen when the hydraulic oil contains impurities. The only way to deal with it is to replace the output shaft and match the housing.
